CERTH/HIT (www.certh.gr, www.imet.gr) is developing Autopilot Pedestrian app for the purposes of AUTOPILOT European research project (Grant Agreement No 731993).Autopilot Pedestrian app is targeting for the AUTOPILOT pedestrian users.

The app continuously uses pedestrian’s location and sends data to a cloud server. The cloud server collects and manipulates data and provides appropriate notifications to the pedestrian when an AUTOPILOT vehicle or an AUTOPILOT bicycle approaches the pedestrian.

Both AUTOPILOT vehicle and AUTOPILOT bicycle also sends location data to the same cloud server. The software apps run on AUTOPILOT vehicles and AUTOPILOT bicycles are developing for the purposes of AUTOPILOT European research project (Grant Agreement No 731993).

Autopilot Pedestrian app shows warnings to the user when an AUTOPILOT vehicle or an AUTOPILOT bicycle is approaching the AUTOPILOT pedestrian.AUTOPILOT pedestrians may have additional safety using this app from avoiding accidents.
