The Blood Count Reader application uses the phone’s camera to read (scan) a general blood test form followed by a clinical computer interpretation.
The application is adapted for reading standard results of a Complete Blood Count obtained using automatic hematological analyzers (for example, MINDRAY BC-2800 with 19 parameters).
The results of a blood test can be entered into the phone’s memory either automatically (scan the form) or manually. Manual input will be needed for technical scanning errors, fuzzy font, low light.
This application will help to conduct differential diagnosis of anemia (iron deficiency, B12 / folic, due to blood loss ..), inflammatory processes (viral, bacterial ...) and some other clinical situations associated with changes in hematological parameters.
