The Fruit Growing Research Center (pcfruit vzw) is an internationally recognized research center in fruit growing. Pcfruit conducts research in collaboration with universities, other research institutions, industry and the fruit sector.

This knowledge center has about a hundred employees, half of whom are scientists and advisors (ST@F advisors) and includes 62.5 hectares of testing ground for apple, pear, cherry, apricot, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, currant and grape, among others. Pcfruit is the place in the heart of the fruit region where scientific research, demonstrations to fruit growers, individual business information and services to companies come together. Our test center is there for the fruit grower, the supply company and the researcher.

The ST@F advisory service, Strong Advice in Fruit Growing, is there to provide professional fruit growers with tailor-made advice and support. The ST@F app plays a crucial role in this, mainly in warnings and observations.
