Giza
The Great Pyramid of Giza, along with the other smaller pyramids and surviving relics of ancient Egypt, is located at Al Haram, Nazlet El-Samman, in the Al Giza Desert, about 35 minutes drive outside of Cairo. There are lots of easy ways to get to the pyramids, including driving yourself or buying dedicated Giza Pyramid tickets that include a guided tour and/or transport.

Luxor
The Temple of Hatshepsut is an ancient Egyptian mortuary temple, dubbed the "Holy of Holies". It was built in Luxor, on the west bank of the Nile, for the Egyptian Queen of the 18th dynasty, Hatshepsut. The temple is also dedicated to the Egyptian god Amun and showcases the most prominent displays of classic architecture in ancient Egyptian buildings.
