The Santander Ensemble of Performing Arts of the University of Guadalajara opened its doors on October 21, 2017 with the aim of bringing together the artistic manifestations of the world in the same space.

With an area of ​​52 thousand square meters, it is made up of 4 rooms equipped with the highest technology, with a capacity from 200 to 1,700 people and an infrastructure designed to generate extraordinary experiences.

Music, theater, dance, opera, conferences, fairs and festivals, workshops and master classes are activities that have positioned this property as a cultural benchmark in our country.

It is home to important events such as the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), the International Book Fair (FIL) and the Cultural and Educational Festival for Children and Youth, Papirolas, consolidating this venue as a meeting space for the community. national and international artistic.

In 2020, as a result of the global contingency due to COVID-19, the Digital Room was born, a virtual space that offers streaming and video shows on demand to enjoy from home.
