The Strada dei Sapori delle Valli Varesine occupies the whole mountain side of the province of Varese, reaching the territories of Valceresio, Valcuvia, Valganna, Valmarchiolo and Valli del Luinese areas.

_ The historical, small coastal villages and their lakeside harbons and wet docks (Laverno Mombello, Luino, Maccagno, Gavirate, Laverna Ponte Tresa, Porto Valtravaglia, etc.) are worth visiting;

_ The same is true for the built-up areas in the inlands (linke the painted village of Arcumaggia);
The varius fortification structures (The Imperial tower in Maccagno or the Angera fortress);

_ The Campo dei Fiori Park;

_ The different fortifications along the Cadorna line of defense;

_ The various production settlements built in connection with the availability of water (Maglio di Ghirla and Mulini di Piero in Curiglia);

_ The Nobiliary Villa System (For Example Villa della Porta Bozzolo in Casalzuigno);

_ The museums (the International Museum of Ceramic Design in Laveno Mombello and the Floriano Bodini Museum in Geomonio);

The Strada is partially travelable by bicycle, but it also offers the chance to use the Sasso del Ferro cableway in Laveno and enjoy a priceless view over all the lakes of the province. You can also use the can also use the cavleway in Monteviasco and discover a typical village of the Val Veddasca area. At present three routes exist, which manage to integrate this heritage with the cultural and gastronomic tradition of the territory, which is not any less interesting.
