Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Behjat Tabrizi was born in 1285 in a village called "Khoshknab" in East Azerbaijan Province.
His father, Haji Mir, was a well-known calligrapher and his mother, a housewife.

"Son, write your own poems in your mother tongue so your mother can understand the lyrics too"
