The Tax on Financial Operations, or IOF, is a tax that is levied on financial operations brought about by DECREE No. 6,306, OF DECEMBER 14, 2007.

In other words, the IOF is a federal tax that was created with the aim of being a regulator of our economy. A small percentage is collected on each transaction and works as a prorated payment for your transactions.

It can focus on operations of: Credits, Insurance, Exchange, Bonds and Securities and Gold.
