The Capixaba Association Against Child Cancer - (Acacci) appears, in 1988, on the premises of the State Children's Hospital Nossa Senhora da Glória (Heinsg), located in Vitória, Espírito Santo. Today Acacci continues with its primary purpose: to offer children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment, as well as their families, an assistance program with an integrative and complementary approach, which covers the physical, psychosocial and spiritual dimensions.

ACACCI is a member of the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (Concav), the Municipal Council for Social Assistance (Comasv), the State Council for Social Assistance (Ceas). He has a Certificate of Beneficent Entity for Social Assistance in the Health Area (CEBAS). In 2018, she was awarded the Golden Attitude Trophy, in the Volunteering category, by the Ronald McDonald Institute. In 2020, the institution was the winner of the national Gold September contest, promoted by Coniacc, and its campaign was published nationwide through the support houses.
