The 16 teams are divided into two groups of eight, with each team facing clubs from its own group in a single round. The top four in each group advance to the quarterfinals.

In case of equal scores, the tiebreaker criteria are:

1) more victories;
2) better goal difference;
3) more pro goals;
4) fewer red cards;
5) fewer yellow cards;
6) draw.

Quarters and Semifinals are played on a knockout basis in a single game and, in case of a draw, the place is decided in a penalty shootout. The final is played in round-trip games and, in case of equality in points and, subsequently, in the goal difference of the confrontation, the title decision goes to penalties.`,
