What is PIS/PASEP?

PIS is a program created to give bonuses to those who work with a formal contract in private companies.
This bonus is paid annually to a certain group of workers who must have worked at least 30 days in the previous year, earning an average of up to two minimum wages and have been enrolled in the PIS for at least 5 years.
The maximum amount paid by PIS is a minimum wage, for those who worked 12 months.

What is PASEP?
Much like PIS, which is aimed at workers in private companies, PASEP is a specific program for civil servants.
