In 2003, the Abaeté Radio Broadcasting System, or simply Rádio Liderança FM, went on the air.

The station initially operated on the frequency of 103.5 MHz. This frequency was later changed to the current 94.7 MHz, due to the station's increased power, which jumped from 1 kW to 3 kW in 2006.

Currently, 94.7 Liderança FM offers an eclectic program with great popular appeal and great success among all social classes and age groups. It combines music, talented communicators, engagement, services, sports, and much more.
