PIB Primavera do Leste is a Christian community, founded on March 12, 1988.

However, its history begins years before. According to reports by Brother Jerônimo, founding member of the First Baptist Church of Primavera do Leste, it all started in 1982, when he and his family (wife Odila and daughters Selma and Isabel) began to participate in a congregation of the 2nd Baptist Church in Rondonópolis - MT , with Pastor Stuart, who preached at that time.

After some time they moved to Primavera do Leste - MT, it was then that we started to attend a small congregation in 1985, still under the command of Pastor Stuart who founded it and took care of the affairs of the church in Primavera. Next to him, missionary Jonas and Brother Rubens also took over the church, alongside Brother Jerome's family.
