On May 10, 1961, Mr. Oliver Daolio and Mrs. Maria Aparecida Bueno Daolio acquired a dry goods warehouse located at Rua Duque de Caxias, number 640, in the city of Amparo, SP.

From the beginning, the son José Luis, then just 13 years old, worked in the warehouse, helping his parents with a lot of commitment, unity, honesty and the desire to win. At that time, the market in Amparo was challenging, as there were strong competitors who had already been operating in the sector for a long time.

In January 1971, José Luis was admitted to the company. Always looking for growth and improvements in customer service, they began construction of a new building in front of the old warehouse, at Rua Silva Pinto, number 87. In September 1977, the Daolio Supermarket was opened, starting the self-service system, a milestone both for the city of Amparo and for the company's history of progress.
