irect Messages — First Release

This is the first public release of Direct Messages. Unlike a full chat client, Direct Messages focuses on a single, practical task: sending messages directly to a phone number using whatever chat app you have installed (for example WhatsApp), without adding the number to your contact list.

Why this exists
Sometimes you want to message a phone number one time (or a few times) without cluttering your contacts. Direct Messages provides a fast, privacy-conscious way to compose a message and hand it off to your chosen chat app for delivery.
