The Granucalc is a software used in particle size analysis to calculate the geometric mean diameter (GMD) and the geometric standard deviation (GSD) of the particles of feed ingredients in broilers and pigs. The program was developed by Embrapa Swine and Poultry Concordia (SC), decentralized unit of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Brazil.

How to calculate a sample:
Simply fill out the form by selecting the fixed method (with predefined screens) or alternative (selecting the sieves used) and inform the weights of the sieves and the weights of the sieves + samples. The results and interpretations can be shared with your contacts.

Indication:
The Granucalc is indicated for producers, feed mills, agribusinesses, cooperatives, associations, educational and research institutions and food testing laboratories.
