BRAZILIAN CONFEDERATION OF aeromodelling:

governing body of the national administration model airplanes. Founded in 1959 as the Brazilian Association of Aeromodelling, he went to Confederation in 2008. During these years the COBRA helped build many clubs, accumulated knowledge, experience and accumulated benefits for its members.

COBRA is the body delegated by the CAB - Committee on Aero sports Brazilian, to be responsible for all aspects of model airplanes in Brazil.

As many of you know, fly model airplanes in Brazil still suffers pressures and prejudices. So it is our duty to promote our hobby / sport and make it attractive and fascinating the thousands of spectators.

COBRA lot of time is taken with contacts in government agencies, local authorities and other organizations to safeguard their interests. Nevertheless, also finds time to promote and control many other airplanes in flight faces.

Our board is available to everyone to answer most of your questions.

- Member of the International Commission of Aeromodelismo (CIAM), an agency of the International Aeronautical Federation (F.A.I).

THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF CONFEDERATION:

- The promotion, protection, organization and encouragement of model airplanes, since its construction, flight and development in all its aspects in Brazil;
- Assist in the creation of new clubs and guide new aeromodelistas;
- Working in cooperation with the FAA, DECEA and other government departments;
- Encourage and support research into design model airplanes, theory and construction;
- Check and record the performance of athletes;
- To act as a promoter of National Championships and assist in event organization.
