The "Pre-Participation Assessment" (AP) application was created so that the Physical Education Professional can safely decide on the immediate start of the student / client's physical activity; the beginning with restrictions; or the non-release to the beginning of the practice of physical activity without medical evaluation.

It brings together, in the hands of the Professional, the main protocols that will provide support for decision making.

With the creation and implementation of the AP application, the Regional Council of Physical Education of the 13th Region (CREF13 / BA) standardizes conduct and evaluation procedures, adapting to individual needs and limitations and combining health benefits.

The Board recognizes that legal provisions requiring a medical certificate as an essential condition for the practice of physical activities do not guarantee the safety intended for the beneficiary and do not exempt the Physical Education Professional from their responsibilities when prescribing and directing physical and sports activity.

This document will be issued with the data of the student / client and the Professional that evaluated it.

The "Pre-Participation Assessment" application guards the Physical Education Professional about their decisions taken based on a document issued by their class council. It also brings credibility to the academies and reassurance to the student or client.
