The Institute of Fiscal Auditors of the State of Bahia (IAF) was established in June 8, 2006, with the biggest goal to defend the rights of the State Tax Auditors.

The institution is also recognized as a reference in the production of economic information about the state of Bahia, focusing on quality and ethics of information.

The IAF also seeks to bring economic and tax information for the various segments of the population, improving the ratio of taxpayer-citizen with the state tax authorities.
