A collection of hymns and choruses in the Kaiwá language
JAPORAHÉI JOA means “Let’s Sing Together”. This volume presents an expanded collection of hymns and choruses sung by Christian Kaiwá, in various churches and congregations.
This collection has been selected from various sources. Some of the hymns and choirs were composed by the Kaiwás, others composed or translated by both Brazilian and foreign missionaries. Some were borrowed from hymnals used in Paraguay. In the latter, there was a need to modify some words due to differences in meaning between dialects.
