“The important thing is to compete”, said Baron de Coubertin, French, Parisian and creator of the Olympic Games of the Modern Era, inspired by the values of Friendship, Respect and Excellence.
Inspired by the same pillars as Coubertin and illuminated by the Olympic Spirit, we are going to celebrate the great affinity between Brazil and France through sports events from Casa Paris.
On the one hand, the joy of Brazilians with their spontaneity, the beauty of biodiversity, on the other, the wealth of the increasingly popular sport and its value to society.
The Casa Paris project will have three editions in Rio de Janeiro, in 2021, 2022 and 2023, all held at the Casa de Cultura Laura Alvim, next to one of the most famous icons in Rio de Janeiro, Ipanema Beach.
Each annual event will be inspired by one of the mottos of the French Revolution: Liberty (2021), Equality (2022) and Fraternity (2023). Several sports will be part of Casa Paris.
In 2024, the project will have its final touch: during the Olympic Games, it will be Paris' turn to host Casa Brasil, ending the journey begun in Rio de Janeiro in grand style.
