What is IMEI?

IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity, which is also the identity of a mobile device with a unique number (different from one another).
If you buy a new device, you will be able to see this IMEI number in several locations, such as on the back of the phone, the device box, or on the receipt that was purchased by you.

Why do I have to check the IMEI status?
