The Clean Ocean app has an interactive map that allows users to report and "pin" litter to locate its position. This is included in a litter report which has further data about the litter. Locations are marked with different pins to show their status. Users can find when and
where cleanups are taking place by searching on the map in their area or in the listed events. Users will be able to join planned clean ups or start their own. Share with others on social media or message/mail your planned events and start making a difference by connecting people to clean beaches over the whole world. We want this to be more than just an app, it is an awareness project and aims to build a community of beach cleaners who want to join in to clean up and/or connect those who are already organizing clean-up events.
