Using the radar function, approaching vehicles can be detected and also receive a boarding request initiated by the app.

Additionally, Intros also offers transport timetables from many different providers allowing one to search for and bookmark various connections.

The most important functions include:
* Detection of the desired vehicle.
* Triggering of the door finding signal.
* Sending an entry or exit request.
* Monitoring of the next 4 stops in a current trip.

Intros was developed to help blind and visually impaired people find the right vehicle, especially at stations with multiple stops. Of course, wheelchair users, or passengers with strollers and/or walkers can also benefit from the app's service.
