Explore your Energy is an application that delivers interactive and educational information on energy in Chile. The application is free to use for all audiences and has information on how the different technologies of electricity generation work, the evolution of the electricity matrix, identification of Renewable potentials, which is carbon neutrality, citizen training video and complementary information.


In the following application you can find information about:

• Electric Generation Technologies: Using augmented reality, this section allows the user to interactively understand the operation of the different electric generation technologies such as photovoltaic energy, geothermal energy or wind energy.

• Evolution of the electrical matrix: The user will be able to visualize on a map how the evolution of the electrical matrix of Chile has been from 1900 to 2019.

• Renewable Potential: In this section, the spatial location of areas with renewable potential is identified (Photovoltaic Solar, CSP Solar, wind, high enthalpy geothermal energy, hydroelectricity).

• Carbon Neutrality: Achieving carbon neutrality is a challenge that Chile has proposed to the year 2050, for this, the energy sector plays an important role in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions in the country. Therefore, this section summarizes the measures taken to achieve the objective and what will be the impact in terms of reducing emissions in the future.

• Citizen Training: Visualization tool that shows the progress regarding citizen training carried out by the Ministry of Energy in the country, which extends the invitation to citizens to be part of our lines of work.
