We are a non-profit private law corporation, founded in 1943, which voluntarily brings together professionals related to Hematology and Transfusion Medicine.

Our mission is defined around three objectives:

1.- Promote scientific knowledge, stimulating the improvement of the associates of these specialties.

2.- Disseminate the problems that affect their professional practice and teaching, requesting the competent authorities to develop policies, plans and programs aimed at improving health actions related to Hematology, Transfusion Medicine and the operation of the establishments that grant them.

3.- Promote interrelation between this Society and related national and international societies.
