Since 2008, CollegeTimes (formerly known as RateMyCollege) has been offering the web's largest collection of uncensored student reviews of colleges, universities, and graduate programs around the world. We have fought off multiple lawsuits and threats from diploma mills and shady schools because we believe that strongly in defending your right to criticize or praise various aspects of your college experience publicly. Most other college search apps are ran by investors and corporations that are trying to feed you into their partner programs which are often low quality online degrees or otherwise. For almost 20 years CollegeTimes is the only directory of student experiences that prioritizes the voice of students and their families over the marketing and sales of the institutions that often care only about their profits. Too many schools these days are happy to put students in thousands of dollars of debt just to achieve a basic college degree, regardless of the quality or career prospects they are providing. We think that's wrong, and the goal of our community is to encourage public debate, criticism, intellectualism, and otherwise while still maitaining an optimistic hope for the future of academic studies. We welcome you to share your honest opinions about various colleges and programs on our website to help other students know what the good and bad aspects are of various schools around the world. We aim to commend colleges for the things they are doing well, while publicly pressuring them to improve the things they are not doing very well (currently) but could easily improve. CollegeTimes is the largest directory of colleges and universities in the world, and we've also recently launched some anonymous discussion forums to allow students even greater freedom to discuss their experiences and ask questions without fear of censorship or reprimand by school officials, which is often a very real risk in many places. Let's support each other in pursuing curiosity and authenticity in a world that's become overrun with consumerism and shallow experiences. Thank you for sharing your experience with others, and please contact us anytime if you have any suggestions or feedback!
