Discover Me from Google is a search engine-friendly "young engine" that does not yet master reading. It allows children to search for and retrieve information on topics that interest them (such as animals and lifestyles, plants, countries and peoples, Earth and space, holidays and more). The information is presented to them in a picture, in saying and in sound and accompanying, for the sake of beginning readers with the written word. In this way, "Discover Me" encourages the child to search for and retrieve information on his own and promotes the thinking skills required for it.
"Discover Me" develops from an early age everything that is included in the concept of "information literacy".
The main educational goals of "Discover Me":
• Develop and cultivate information literacy skills and thinking skills required for retrieving information.
Develop and cultivate intellectual curiosity and consistency in striving to solve a problem.
• Develop and promote the ability to use written and spoken verbal language and graphic symbol language.
And indirectly also:
• Improve concentration and perseverance, and instill learning habits.
• impart skills in using interactive tools (knowledge of the computer and its environment).
• To impart knowledge in various fields.
