1. OBJECTIVE

2. WHERE TO USE THESE CONCEPTS?
In nursing, it is very important to provide assistance to patients suffering from TBI with the aim of reestablishing nursing prescriptions according to the patient's needs.
3. THE EXPERIMENT
In this practice, you will receive the patient dressed and with their hands sanitized. The nurse will go to the patient's room in a hospital environment, will carry out some assessments on the patient, instructing the patient on what will be done and respecting the patient's privacy, the nurse will close the curtain and begin the assessment, with the pupil flashlight the nurse will evaluate the diameter of the pupils and the photoreaction to light. The nurse will also ask the patient to shake their hand to check motor strength, response to voice commands, and also check limb sensitivity and perfusion.
4. SECURITY
In this practice, a lab coat will be used and it is mandatory to wash your hands and use procedure gloves. These safety procedures are essential for the patient's health.
5. SCENARIO
The experiment environment is a hospital emergency room, in the patient's bed or on a clinical/rigid stretcher in the red room of the emergency room. The equipment is a pupillary flashlight, procedure gloves for performing the physical examination of the cervical spine. When the patient is admitted to the ICU, the nurse will go to the bed to carry out the assessment, the patient's privacy must always be respected by keeping curtains closed, the place must be clean, quiet, well lit, for better patient comfort.
