1. OBJECTIVE
In this experiment, you will brush your hair and practice different hairstyles. Furthermore, you will define the hair structure and identify the correct instruments to carry out this practice.
At the end of this experiment, you should be able to:
Know and diagnose the type of hair structure and its variations;
analyze and verify the varieties of brush and hairstyle modeling;
identify the correct diameter of the tool to be used according to the hair structure;
develop the necessary techniques, apply and create hair styles and brushing.
2. WHERE TO USE THESE CONCEPTS?
Brushing and styling procedures can be carried out in beauty and aesthetic clinics, beauty salons, spas, as well as in predetermined locations that have an electrical and hydraulic structure for this purpose: backstage at fairs, events, parades, as well as in dressing rooms, etc.
3. THE EXPERIMENT
In the experiment, after analyzing and diagnosing the hair structure (brief hair anamnesis), the strands will be sanitized in a sink with specific products and the materials and tools needed to apply the technique chosen based on the idealized result will be defined.
Changes in the hair structure, whether from curly to straight, or from straight to wavy, will occur through the use of a heat source (dryer), traction (brush) and physical strength activity (repetitive movements), resulting in the transformation of hair. strands by altering the hydrogen bonds that make up the hair structure.
In this experiment, you will create shapes and shape the strands according to the needs of the hairstyle to be developed, meeting idealized expectations.
4. SECURITY
In this practice, long jeans, closed shoes, an apron or coat, preferably white, and an elastic band or hair clip will be used. These items are necessary for your protection and better performance of the experiment, thus following Anvisa's requirements.
5. SCENARIO
The experiment will take place in a beauty salon-type laboratory. Hairdryer, combs and sink are essential to this practice. The furniture that makes up this environment is: a sink for cleaning, a mirror, a support cart, a hairdressing chair for styling your hair, counters with shampoos, conditioners and hairspray. The following objects are part of this scenario: white towels, fine-handled comb, wide-toothed comb, round brushes. These tools will ensure the correct execution of the experiment.
