These games were made for our student at American Accent Mentor after seeing many students from different areas of the world struggle with the same sounds in American English. When we learn English as a second language (ESL), we are so busy focusing on the definitions of words, we don't concentrate on the exact pronunciation, we are just happy to understand and communicate with new words! However, over time, many small mistakes add up and cause an accent.

This app won't remove your accent, but it is designed to help ESL learners and young children by helping them understand which phoneme we use for the word displayed in a fun quiz form, then provides an audio sample to repeat after, to help guide pronunciation.
