The app allows users to freely place life-size digital 3D objects in space. Users can move around them just as they would with a real object. This allows digital 3D objects to be used in research and teaching in much the same way as real objects, except that physical contact is not possible. In addition to directly examining the AR objects, they can also be compared with physical objects already in collections.
