Blip serves as a means to display in real time and geographically thoughts of the user’s current location. This allows users to provide information of the current location and can serve as another medium to provide information on places such as parks, restaurants, and any other location that the user desires. This in turn can benefit local places and provide more awareness and thus serve as another form of advertisement or in other cases a sense of security. Blips also serve as a way to promote social media on a local level, and add a different method of social communication.
