In this app/game you can peel the apple by dragging your finger over it. To rotate use bottom 20% of the screen. It is pretty relaxing and oddly satisfying. You can draw on the apple or do whatever you want.

There are still some performance issues. There's no peel yet since it proved to be annoying to implement. Sometimes it is necessary to restart the app due to some weird bug with displacement textures not loading. The apples are randomly generated.
