Club Atlético Boca Juniors, or simply Boca Juniors, is an Argentine sports club based in the La Boca neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It was founded on April 3, 1905 by six neighboring teenagers who were children of Italian parents. Boca Juniors has participated in the Argentine First Division since 1913 and, as of the 2013 Initial Tournament, became the only club that has played every season of the first division since the beginning of professional football in Argentina in 1931.
