It is a book about the benefits of speech in general, and various Qur’anic verses and some noble prophetic hadiths, in which the imam extracts benefits and glimpses from the verses and hadiths, and in it Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah addresses a verse or part of a verse, and interprets it in a way that no one has preceded him, or deals with a hadith or part of a hadith. Or even a word in it, and extracts valuable meanings and useful wisdom from it. The Book of Benefits is classified as one of the books of preaching, including: the subtleties of interpretation that are realized through contemplation, contemplation and deep understanding. As well as the sources of the Sunnah that are extracted through follow-up and continued research, comparison, investigation and discussion. The benefits of experience, contact with people, and knowing their different customs, doctrines, and behavior patterns. And flashes of Arabic language and rhetoric. Poetic citation in situations where citation is appropriate.
