Four is a word game where two players take turns choosing letters and then placing those letters on a board. When the board is full, points are tallied, and the most points wins.

When a player has chosen a letter, both players place this letter. When scoring, all horizontal and vertical words are worth as many points as they are long. If a player succeeds in building a word that is four letters long, this is instead worth a full five points.
