Santos Futebol Clube, better known simply as Santos, is a Brazilian club founded on April
14, 1912, based in the city of the same name. Initially its colors would be white, blue and
gold, but a year after its foundation, it was decided that the club's colors would become white
and black. The club plays its matches at the Urbano Caldeira Stadium, better known as Vila
Belmiro. Its biggest rivals in football are Corinthians, with whom it competes in the Alvinegro
Classic; Palmeiras, with whom they compete in the Classic of Saudade; and São Paulo, with
whom they compete in San-São.
