on opponents and his flamboyant style, he won the UFC title by knocking out José Aldo in

The Notorious, as he is nicknamed, was Cage Warriors lightweight and featherweight
champion, being the first Irish professional fighter to hold two titles in two different divisions.
McGregor repeated his feat on November 12, 2016, this time in the UFC, and became the
first fighter in the organization to hold two belts in different categories at the same time.
