• Choose where to sleep to replenish your energy
• Decide to take zero days (no hiking) to replenish your health
• Ration your meals and money
• Try to make it all the way to Mt. Katahdin (or Springer Mountain)

Although the game is literally a "walking simulator", it doesn't fit into that category. The developer finds this hilarious.
