Available in three languages ​​and designed to appropriate art for young people through technology, this app combines augmented reality (AR) and 3D virtual tour to offer a new way to explore two master works: Las Meninas by Velázquez and the reinterpretation of Pablo Picasso.

The experience begins with a brief historical and artistic introduction to the two authors. Next, students will be able to take a first-person virtual tour of a digital museum created by Unity, and will be able to explore inspiring exhibition spaces in real galleries.

The most innovative part of the application is augmented reality: just focus on a black and white image of Las Meninas by Velázquez to see the characters reinterpreted by Picasso, in 3D and with small animations. Furthermore, these characters react to the user's interaction, turning the work into a living and participatory experience.

This application has been developed by students of the Multiplatform Application Development cycle in an educational environment and responds to the desire to create resources that favor active learning, creativity and interest in art and culture. It is an ideal way to work in the classroom from different formative cycles or educational levels, encouraging reflection on the evolution of art and its function in society.
