This book is a complete translation of the treatise "Al-Mabaadi Al-Mufidah fit-Tauhidi wal-Fiqih wal-Aqidah" ​​(Basic Principle on the Subject of Tuuhid, Fiqh and Aqidah) written by Shaykh Yahya bin Ali Al-Hajuri, one of his students senior Shaykh Muqbil bin Hadi Al-Wadi'i and his successor in teaching at the Institute in Damaj, Yemen.

This treatise was chosen because it presents the basic principles of Islam which are the basis of the faith and practice of Muslims in an easy-to-follow format. This book is structured point by point, questions and answers, so that it becomes very useful introductory material (to religion).

In his preamble, the author stated that he wrote this treatise to teach his children and also as a guide to teach other Muslim youths. With the same intention, this treatise has been chosen for translation in the hope that it will be an attempt to help novice Muslims to understand the basic concepts of Islamic belief, helping Muslim parents to teach their children the basics of religion; and as a reference material for Muslims with a better understanding in gathering arguments and (religious) foundations.

May Allah accept this modest effort and make it easier for the above goals to be fulfilled.
