Alfiyah Ibn Malik is a complete nahwu shorof book in the form of a nadhom or poem consisting of 1,002 stanzas, that is why it is called alfiyah which means a thousand.

This book is widely studied by students at Islamic boarding schools, usually studied after they study Jurumiyah and Imriti.
