This book is an elaboration of the 2013 Curriculum Content Standards which focuses on aspects of spiritual attitudes (Core Competency 1) and social attitudes (Core Competency 2). However, so that KI-1 and KI-2 can be implemented correctly, aspects of knowledge and skills are also explained.
Starting with the theme: "Opening the Recesses of the Heart" and "Criticizing Our Surroundings", it is hoped that this book will be able to arouse students' sensitivity to actual issues, then be able to solve these problems well.
Indeed, in this book not all knowledge and skills are explained extensively, this is deliberately done so that students want to look for other information to deepen and expand the material. Therefore, after completing the sub-subjects, students are asked to do assignments in the form of "student activities".
This is in accordance with the 2013 curriculum development principle, that students must find out, not be told." Meanwhile, at the end of each chapter, "Implementing Noble Behavior" is added, this is intended so that the values of Islamic teachings can be concretely realized through real actions in everyday life.
Of course, in the preparation of this book there are still many shortcomings and mistakes, therefore the author very sincerely accepts criticism and suggestions from all readers, for the sake of perfection in the preparation of this book in the future.
