Students' creativity and skills in producing handicraft products, engineered products, cultivated products and processing products have been trained through Crafts Subjects since Middle School Classes VII, VIII and Class IX. Students have been introduced to a variety of techniques for producing craft products, engineered products, cultivated products and processing products.
The techniques trained can be utilized according to the potential and local wisdom unique to each region. Students will creatively and skillfully develop regional potential. These products have the potential to have economic value through entrepreneurship.
In Middle School Classes X, XI and Entrepreneurship is a very important ability to have to be able to play a role in the future.
Entrepreneurship includes the cultivation of soul, enthusiasm, knowledge, creative potential and skills. Craft learning materials in Crafts, Engineering, Cultivation and Processing are linked to the Entrepreneurship context. In Class X, students are introduced to the concept of entrepreneurship and the basic attitudes of an entrepreneur.
In Class Learning activities also emphasize the ability to work in groups, so that students have the skills to collaborate.
Crafts and Entrepreneurship Learning in Class
This book guides students to carry out activities in stages, according to the stages taken to start a business. In each chapter, it begins with knowledge about the context of the craft field; crafts, engineering, cultivation and processing. The next learning process consists of activities which are stages until the final stage is an entrepreneurial simulation activity.
Students can actively enrich their knowledge by searching for data and information from various other sources outside this book. Students can also develop ideas according to the characteristics and potential of their region so that the activities carried out in the learning process become real and in accordance with existing opportunities and needs.
