Class VII social studies learning aims to provide students with insight into various social phenomena, at the local level, through understanding human activities and social interactions through spatial and temporal connectivity. Students are equipped to understand the existence of themselves and their families in their immediate social environment. Students are also expected to be able to analyze the relationship between geographical conditions and community characteristics and the way they carry out their activities in the immediate environment.

How communities strive to fulfill their daily needs, including through community empowerment activities that contribute positively to the surrounding environment. In a broader scope, it is hoped that it will contribute to the formation of Indonesian people who love their homeland based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.

This class VII Social Sciences Teacher's Guidebook directs teachers in carrying out the learning process, having the will and ability to search for and utilize learning resources available both at school and in the surrounding environment.

The focus of the study is directed at learning outcomes in the curriculum, namely the efforts of students to have the need to carry out social interactions in the closest to the furthest environment, and foster attitudes, awareness, concern and tolerance towards the socio-cultural diversity of society.

This book directs the process of inquiry-oriented learning with scientific activities such as observation or observation, and directs critical and creative thinking and forming a network of knowledge that is mastered. Teachers are very important in directing, as well as being a driver/motivator for student activities with various activities exemplified in this book. Teachers can, and are even strongly encouraged, to enrich themselves creatively in the form of other relevant activities originating from the natural, social and cultural environment around students. The discussion of this book is divided into two parts, namely General Instructions and Special Instructions.
