Crafts and Entrepreneurship are applied sciences that apply various fields of knowledge to solve practical problems in everyday life.

The Crafts and Entrepreneurship subjects aim to develop students' knowledge, skills and entrepreneurial spirit through self-produced products. These products are made by utilizing the potential of natural resources and local wisdom in the surrounding environment.

The scope of Crafts and Entrepreneurship subjects for SMA/MA class X includes four aspects, namely crafts, engineering, cultivation and processing. After studying these four aspects, students are expected to be able to make products by utilizing the potential and local wisdom of the surrounding environment.

The preparation of the Teacher's Guidebook for Crafts and Entrepreneurship: Engineering class X refers to the Merdeka Curriculum which has been refined, both learning outcomes per phase and per element. To help students understand the material on Crafts and Entrepreneurship, each discussion in this book is accompanied by a presentation and worksheet. The hope is that students can actively explore various learning media.

The author hopes that this book can motivate teachers to be more creative and innovative in solving practical problems by utilizing the potential of natural resources in their respective regions.

The author also hopes that this book can contribute to efforts to improve the quality of student learning outcomes and help preserve the crafts, culture and technology of the Indonesian nation.
