Dance education has a very important role for educational purposes. However, the phenomenon that occurs in dance learning currently still has several challenges, including:

1. Not all schools have dance teachers, so in some schools there are still teachers from other subjects or other branches of art whose job is to teach dance. This condition has the effect of not optimally learning dance in terms of material and dance learning methods;

2. Diversity of students' interests and talents, so that there are still many students who are shy or find it difficult to express themselves in learning dance;

To answer this challenge, the author designed a guidebook for dance teachers in Indonesia. The characteristics of the contents of this teacher's guidebook are that it conveys learning material and activities designed to make students more active and able to express themselves through the art of dance.

The hope is that by studying dance, students will not only be able to express themselves and be creative with art. However, you can also recognize, understand and appreciate local culture as national identity.

This book is very open to input or suggestions, so that the book becomes better and more perfect. The author would like to thank the parties who have helped complete this book.
