AminoViewer3D is an application with augmented reality that allows the visualization and three-dimensional manipulation of molecules of the common amino acids of nature. Its use depends on the AminoViewer booklet (http://www.de.ufpb.br/~labteve/download/Aminoviewer.pdf)
therefore, this application is part of a didactic material that uses the association of a booklet and this application (the AminoViewer3D), to establish knowledge about the structure and function of amino acids, a subject addressed in biochemistry subjects in university courses.
The handout presents the 20 common amino acids, their two-dimensional structures, their chemical characteristics, their biological functions and their structural formula. The image of its structural formula is also presented for each amino acid. This booklet can be downloaded at http://www.de.ufpb.br/~labteve/download/Aminoviewer.pdf
From this AminoViewer3D app, each of the images in the handout leads to the 3D visualization of the molecules that you can manipulate three-dimensionally, exploring their characteristics.
