Description:
Lane Shift Detector, an AI-assisted APP, sends signal to the driver by synthesized human voice and buzz when the vehicle is shifting out of lane. However, this APP is not a replacement of human interaction with the vehicle.

Initially, the driver must keep vehicle within a straight lane and no close vehicle in front. When the APP is in portrait mode, the driver can see the detected stripe edge surrounded by rectangular box. The far end of road should be at the center of phone screen.

The mobile phone can be placed at the dashboard or on the top of inner windshield which gains better view by camera. The lane is determined while the APP is running. Depends on the installation, hardware, camera, visibility and road condition, the range of view by camera may vary; and the road should gradually incline or decline. The APP may predict curvy road in front besides lane shifting. The drive needs to ensure there is enough battery power to operate the mobile phone. A plugged-in power supply is recommended for long distance driving.

- Licensor
The code of this APP is registered with USPTO for license under name of Ong Jia Horng and Apache License version 2.0 (https://opensource.org/licenses/Apache-2.0).

- Defination of Terms
This Terms of Use together with the Privacy Policy is a agreement between you, a user of APP and Licensor. Your application of the APP is subject to compliance with all of the terms herein.

We reserve the right to revise or update this Terms of Use when it is appropriate. The information will be sent to user via website, email or by other medium. The user is encouraged to periodically visit the website for notice.

The APP consists of parts or materials including, but not limted to, images, logos, data, text, and so forth are protected by copyright and / or other intellectual property laws.

By using the APP, the user also is required to comply with rules, regulations, test, and laws of your local Motor Vehicle Department.

You are granted to download, install and use the APP on your own device. You may not sublicense, assign, or transfer the license under the agreement. In addition, you shall not:
i. let other pepole use the APP via online network
ii. redistribute, sell, lease, lend or rent the APP
iii. reverse engineer, decompile, decrypt, or to derive the source code or underlying ideas
iv. make copy of APP (excluding back-up purpose
v. infringes or violates the intellectual property rights
vi. remove, alter or obscure copyright, trademark, patent or other notices
vii. use the materials or property without prior consent

- Disclaimer of Warranty
The user of the APP is solely responsible for his / her action and risk. Neither Licensor nor supplier will be responsible or liable of the accuracy, assurance, reliability of service, fit of use, warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, or error free. The product and content are provided by Licensors on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, under no circumstances shall the licensor be liable for special, incidental, consequential, direct, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or tort damages, including, but not limited to, damages for lost profit, loss of goodwill, work stoppage, or device malfunction.

Privacy Policy:
We may use a payment services or supplier who receives and processes your transactions on our behalf.

We do not collect from the user any individually identifiable information (“Personal Information”), except for communication or support purpose.

We will request the user permission for assess to the camera when the APP is started. The camera will collect the image for processing and data will be temporarily saved in the memory. However, this data is used for computing purpose.
